COURTNEY​

Courtney Adams is an emerging artist from Massey University's School of Art. Interested in the portrayal of females in popular culture and mass media, she depicts females using the very imagery she so critiques. Her work raises questions around female representation, body image, self identity, role models, and advertising's ideals.

 

Courtney  specializes in portraiture and photo-realistic renderings. Favoring traditional methods and mediums such as graphite pencil as well as oil and gouache paints, she is also trained in illustration, photography, digital design, and visual communications.
